Identifiable Coherent Whole

The members of an organisation form an identifiable, coherent whole arising from their interdependence in the different aspects of a common task. Organisations are unified or integrated entities.

Rational, Conscious Design

Organisations embody a concsios design, such that their structures reflect a means to achieve ends. or in other words, organisations applt knowledge about cause-effecdt relations in the use of human, financial and technological resources.

In short they are rational.

Goal Seeking Entities

Organisations exist to pursuse particular aims and objectives; indeed, this is fundemental, because these aims give an organisation its structure and coherence and explain its activities (or actions).

Organisations are goal seeking entities.
